Actually I feel like the week leading up to Easter and Easter day itself was the best one of my life because of the virus and being quarantined. Our church offered so many things for us to do online (walk thru the story, daily devotions, worship nights on Facebook Live, Easter Jam). We were so much more aware of what the week meant and spent a lot more time focusing on what Easter really is all about.
Easter day we had our virtual church and virtual Sunday School. After church my daddy and Matthew's parents came over for lunch. Mrs. Latrelle split the menu and had ham, baked macaroni and cheese, cream corn, potato salad, and peas. For dessert we had pound cake and homemade whipped cream with strawberries.
The kids hunted eggs several times. This was Abigail's third Easter (she was born 6 weeks before Easter) and she surely enjoyed hunting eggs this year.
My mama could not come over on Easter because of the virus, and we missed her very much. However, the next time she came, we hid eggs and she was able to have an egg hunt with them, too!
