Christmas 2017

We had a wonderful Christmas! Praise the Lord, we were all healthy (unlike in years past).  We had several different family gatherings:
* Christmas at Grandma and Granddaddy Murphy's house
* Christmas at Uncle Dwight and Aunt Carol's
* Christmas at DD's
* Christmas at Maggie Claire's and Mollie's
* Christmas Eve with Yaya and Top
* Christmas Day with Papa
* Christmas Night with the Sumner's at Top and YaYa's

We did a lot of fun things leading up to Christmas like:
* Watching them turn the lights on in Moultrie at the courthouse square on Thanksgiving night
* Going to Callaway Garden's Fantasy In Lights
* Siting in Santa's lap
* Going to Albany Mall to ride the Christmas train
* Making our countdown to Christmas rings
* Making gingerbread houses
* Making Christmas cookies for Santa
* Putting out reindeer food
* Going to Moultrie to look at the lights every week.  One night we even had a picnic dinner under the lights.
* Riding through the lights at the park in Tifton.
* Sumner still enjoyed stringing Christmas lights around the house
* Attended One Starry Night at church

Dear Sumner and Anna Ruth
We had a wonderful Christmas season.  Mama and Daddy made sure to remind you on a daily basis what the true meaning of Christmas is.  I thank God for allowing me to make these memories with you both.  Next year we will have another precious child to make Christmas memories with.  I love you both as high as the sky and the ocean is deep and more and more and more!
