Pine Mountain Vacation

     We left Friday, October 9th and came home Sunday, October 11th.  We started the trip off with breakfast in Tifton at Hog and Bones.  It takes about three hours to get to Pine Mountain.  When we got there we walked around the little town and ate lunch and had ice cream.  We made it to our cabin around 2:00.  The kids took a nap and played together in the cabin.  That night we ordered pizza for supper.  All three kids were in bed by 8:00!

     Saturday was the best! We ate breakfast at the cabin and then went on a Safari Adventure.  It was one of the neatest places I have ever been. We rode in a school bus with the windows taken out and all the animals came to the window so we could pet and feed them.  There are over 300 animals!  All three kids had a blast, and so did all four parents.  After the safari we went into town and had lunch.  After lunch we went back to the cabin so the kids could take a nap (and the parents did, too!) We drove into town to eat supper at a place that reminded Sumner of Cracker Barrel which made him very excited!

     Sunday morning we packed up everything and drove into town for breakfast.  After breakfast we went to Callaway Gardens.  At Callaway we took a tour of the butterfly garden.  We got there at a great time because we were able to see a lot of butterflies.  We also went to the "Birds of Prey" show which was really cool! Sumner was sitting in a prime spot because the birds kept flying right over his head, almost touching him.  After the show we ate lunch and headed back home.

     The kids slept the entire way home!  We made it back to our house around 5:00! Even though we had an AWESOME time it is always good to be home!

Unforgettable Moments: 

• Sumner is such a "homebody." He liked the trip but he still told me several times he missed his house!
• I heard "mine" more times than I can count from the three kiddos! But all in all they shared their toys and got along with each other great!

I am so thankful for my precious family and awesome friends.  We had such a wonderful time and I cannot wait to make more memories together!
