Anna Ruth's Baby Dedication Day!

Sunday, May 25th, Matthew and I stood before God and our church family and vowed to raise Anna Ruth in a way that will pleasing to our Lord and Savior.  We recognized that she is a gift from our Heavenly Father, and that he has in trusted us as her parents to teach her about him. 

It was a very special day.  Brother Brain Blackburn preformed her dedication.  Guests included mine and Matthew's parents and our Uncle Dwight.  After the service we all came back to our house and grilled hamburgers and hotdogs and spent the afternoon playing and spending time . 

It was truly as special day.  That evening when Matthew and I were tucking Sumner in, Matthew remarked how special the day was to him, too.  There is nothing better that spending a day in the Lord's house and then coming home and spending time with the ones who you love most.  Our family is blessed beyond words!
