Matthew, Sumner, and I had our first baby shower on March 23, 2012! The hostesses were Jon and Jori Thompson, Matt and Katie Thompson, soon to be Will and Elizabeth Daughtry, soon to be Jesse and Alexis Lynch, Zach and Whitney Murphy, Burt Waites, and Jarrod and Mandy Roberts. The shower was suppose to be a cook out at Mandy and Jarrod's house, but the weather caused us to move things inside. We had a really good turn out, about 40 people. We ate hamburgers, hot dogs, zesty potatoes, potato salad, chips, and baked beans. For the most part, our gifts consisted of gift cards to various places. However, we did get a few other things as well. We got Sumner's baby book from my mama, a humidifier, a few outfits, a baby bag, diapers, and a baby devotional book with a dvd! We had the best time! We appreciate all of our family and friends who are sharing this very special time with us! We love you all very much!
